The API Career fair was held by the New York Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Asia Pacific Public Affairs Alliance, New York Branch. It was held at the CCBA at 10:30 am on the 9th. Job seekers talked with the recruiters of various agencies, including many parents who were looking for employment for their children. The enthusiastic participation of the attendees led to a successful event, with the number of attendees more than expected. Both the public and private companies emphasized the diversity of the staff. Nearly 20 summer interns were all connected with the multi-disciplinary agencies, encouraging job seekers to carry resumes on the spot for consultation and interviews. Enterprises include Centers Plan Health Insurance, Sing Tao Daily, Overseas Chinese, World Daily, Coca-Cola, Champion Parking, Rayhonda Insurance, Concord Doors and Windows, ASA University, Hengtong Bank, etc. Translation services were available on site to allow Chinese citizens to worry about language barriers.
