On November 20th, 2015, the Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner Celebration, jointly organized by the Board of Confucius Plaza and the Confucius Building Association, invited the residents of Kongsha and Huaying Street to participate and receive holiday gifts. State Senator Shi Gejing attended the celebration and sent a festive greeting to the attendees. In the auditorium, everyone gathered together, with the scene of the celebration also including the performances of the Confucius volunteers Song and Dance Troupe and the singers Tian Limei and He Taihua. The celebration benefited the elderly institutions near Confucius Plaza, including the Huaying United Senior Center, the Renrui Center, the Yingying Club, the Confucius Plaza Adult Day Care Center and the sponsoring units sharing about 600 meals.
